I cant play Sakura Wars, so Long my Love a wii game, on USB LOADER GX June. I did not know and I had to do all this process for my games which takes quite some time. I recently installed it and had a hell of a time tracking down a working.
It will actually overwrite it which will erase the game file and then put the save one … annoying. Because if you install the game (on USB) first and try to move/copy your saves (from internal to USB) via the console settings, to console will not merge the files. The thing is that you have to copy/move all the saves files (updates if you wish as well) from the internal storage of the Wii U to wherever you will be installing the games (most likely USB) BEFORE the wup installation if you want to keep playing your saves, tried with BOTW and SSB WiiU and worked. There is one thing though that I found out about the dis2app to convert WiiU games disk into the USB drive that you could add to your part 2 which could be very useful. I tried the mem card sim and worked perfectly. I did ”ctrl f” on this page an found that the answer was posted earlier.
